Natural Knowledge’s primary focus is to improve children’s knowledge of the natural world. By improving awareness, Natural Knowledge will compel American youth to take ownership of and responsibility for their land, water and resources. Conservation-minded citizens will grow from the seeds planted by this program.
To instill a sense of responsibility for the natural world, Natural Knowledge will host and sponsor outdoor activity trips, display and explore the beauty of nature, and allow children the opportunity to take an active part in the ecosystems studied in textbooks. Natural Knowledge will also visit classrooms to further facilitate wise use of natural resources and stewardship of our environment and will advocate for healthy outdoor play and activities.
